Manage Shopify International Market Prices in Bulk with a Spreadsheet

Manage Shopify International Market Prices

If you sell in multiple markets, maintaining different prices manually inside Shopify can become slow very quickly. eCommix – Google Sheets Sync helps you manage market pricing in bulk from a spreadsheet.

Use the Region Catalog Prices preset to edit dynamic market price columns for your store's catalogs/markets.

Real use case: Running different prices by market during a regional promotion

A brand sells in multiple markets and needs separate promotional pricing for one region without changing base prices globally. Using eCommix – Google Sheets Sync, the team exports region catalog price columns, updates the relevant market in Sheets, validates changes, and imports only the targeted market prices.

This gives teams a safer workflow for regional pricing campaigns and international pricing maintenance.

  • International team reviews market columns side by side
  • Pricing manager applies formulas only to the targeted market
  • Team validates and imports market-specific price changes

Use eCommix – Google Sheets Sync to export Shopify products to Google Sheets, bulk edit safely, validate changes, and import updates back to Shopify.

What you can update

The preset adds dynamic columns for each region catalog, typically including:

  • Price (... Region Catalog)
  • Compare At Price (... Region Catalog)

These are variant-level market prices, so each row maps to a specific variant.

Recommended workflow

  1. Select Region Catalog Prices.
  2. Export products/variants with market price columns.
  3. Edit only the market columns you want to change.
  4. Validate.
  5. Import.
  6. Re-export to confirm final market prices.

Why spreadsheets are ideal for market pricing

  • Compare multiple markets side by side
  • Apply formulas for regional price adjustments
  • Batch update price and compare-at price together
  • Review changes before publishing/importing

Example use cases

  • Increase prices in one market due to currency or shipping costs
  • Run a market-specific sale
  • Align compare-at prices across markets
  • Correct supplier-driven price changes across multiple regions

Important notes

  • Market prices are variant-level, not product-level
  • Export first so the rows include the correct variant identifiers
  • Validate before importing large changes

If you also need to control where a product is visible (not just price), use the region catalog visibility workflow separately.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Editing the wrong market column
  • Updating all markets when only one should change
  • Mixing base price changes and market price changes without review
  • Skipping a confirmation export after import

Final tip

For large international catalogs, update one market at a time and keep a separate sheet tab per market rollout. It makes auditing and rollback much easier.
